After listening to the interview made to Papa Chris P., me and some friends realized how fitting this drawing I made months ago was. Seeing how it is canon that they were childhood friends in Deluxe. And well, here goes the rant on what inspired me to draw trans!kid!chuck to begin with.

A remix of the movie A.I, Artificial Intelligence.
Most people hated this movie’s end but I never really cared. I was a transboy in the verge of puberty when that movie came out, and as many trans kids, I sometimes would just wish upon a star or beg any force in the universe, magical, godly, whatever, even if it was a fairy, to make me a “real boy” before I went to sleep (sometimes I would NOT be able to sleep). A.I, of course, shattered me. So when I heard the song, I was engulfed by many memories from when I was a lil kid. And one of them was my first puppy love at the age of 9.

I thought I had never had a better boyfriend than him in my 22 years alive. Then I thought… Mike totally seems like the perfect cis boyfriend that would drive through a storm just to get you your T shot. And this happened.
