This Commission is for Megan! Of their characters Alois and Ballard. Alois is a very femm, very cute younger brother to the heir to the throne, and Ballard is stern, humble knight in the royal guard. Needless to say they were very fun to do.
If you want to commission me, just send me a note or a mail to liamskits@gmail.com! I am doing couple portraits like these for 30$ !!
I must say: This has way too much style and such a high level of execution for you to charge a measly $30. Doing yourself a great injustice if you charge anything below $55 or 60.
I loathe to sound preachy to a stranger, but damn do I hate to see talent cheapening themselves.
Well, I appreaciate the sentiment behind the commentary (and it must be really nice to be able to think that way), but I would appreciate it much more if you commissioned me instead of telling me what to charge. I have immidiate urgent expenses to take care of, and even lowering my prices to $30 I am not well known yet to get any more than 4 commissions. If I charged any more, I probably wouldn't get any commissions and flattery does not give me anything to eat.
In the process of getting more recognition, I will eventually start charging a little more. But as for now, what can I do for you?
I understand where you're coming from with the low-charge at the beginning of ones' freelance career. Worked through it myself. Though I stand by my comment, and your reply as well, it was certainly presumptuous of me none the less. For that I apologize.
As for what you can do for me: Continue kicking ass with your work. I'm sorry that the most I could do was try to promote you: Hopefully I was able to send some clients your way back then, hopefully now too actually.
Thank you C: Promoting me is a very kind, awesome gesture, and I bet many of the clients I've gotten have been product of that! If you wish me to, I can totally promote you back. Your work is really amazing, so it would be only logical.
Thank you for the offer (and kind words), but no need. Admittedly, a small part of me wanted you to know, otherwise I would never have mentioned it, but it wasn't for that purpose. I'm not one to commission others (though I have a 'commission + promote' idea for if my upcoming comic does well), so I figured promoting would be a good alternative.

I hope you're able to charge your worth soon!
